Walking the Chicago Loop – Downtown Chicago south from Chicago River

Walking the Chicago Loop – Downtown Chicago south from Chicago River.

Zigzagging between South Michigan Avenue, Van Buren, Adams, Wabash, LaSalle, Madison, Washington, Randolph, Lake, State Street and Wacker Drive

Sirenes, noisy traintracks, Willis Tower, James R Thompson Center, The Art Institute of Chicago, Historic Districts, long fire staircase, Finance Center, colonnade buildings, shiny glass buildings next to try-to-look-like-being-build-a-long-time-ago-but-cannot-be-older-than-19th-century buildings, Theatre District with the Oriental Theatre and famous Chicago Theatre, and a lot of McDonald’s, Subway and Starbucks.

Chicago Downtown didn’t look that busy at all, but it was freezing cold in March…
