Akdamar – Georgous Island in Lake Van. Just off the coast is the wonderful island in the middle of crystal blue Lake Van. On the island is an old Georgian Chuch, but moreover walking around the island offers great views of the water and the mountain in the back until you find yourselves invited to the all male Turkish picknick. Now that’s what I call hospitality!
